The Clapp-Goodyear Enrichment Committee is a focus group within the PTO. This group of PTO members and Clapp School staff work together to spend the money allotted by the PTO for in-school enrichment. The Enrichment Committee is in need of new members for the 2009-2010 school year.
The PTO has committed to raising funds for the 2009-2010 school year to spend on in-school enrichment activities which will benefit all of the Clapp-Goodyear School students. The Enrichment Committee surveys the entire staff and administration prior to booking in-school enrichment programs, and is mindful of finding programs which support MCAS and Mass Curriculum Frameworks; no fundraising is involved if you chose to join the Enrichment Committee.
Preliminary Plans for 2009-2010 include a program by Tribal Rhythms and Historical Perspectives.
The Enrichment Committee is encouraged by the PTO to apply for grants when possible to offset costs.
