Clapp-Goodyear School PTO

Welcome Clapp-Goodyear Families!

PIES DUE NOV 13TH!!

We are happy to be working with Wilson Farms again this year to provide Clapp-Goodyear families yummy Thanksgiving Day pies without the baking!  Pie orders and money are due on November 13th.   Contact an officer at clappschoolpto@hotmail.com for more information.

Bake Sales

This year, bake sales will be held every month, and will be hosted by a different grade each month.  Every class will have the opportunity to visit all the bake sales where students will be able to purchase a snack or a chance at small raffle prizes.  All snacks and all raffle tickets will be 25 cents each.  All money made will go toward the field trip busses and admissions for the grade that is hosting the bake sale.  Below is a list of bake sale dates and hosting grades.

Grade 5-Nov 13
Grade 2-Jan 15
Grade 1-Feb 12
Kindergarten-March 12
Grade 3-April 16
Grade 4-May 14

When it is your grade's turn to host you will be contacted to help with baking and/or sales.  If you have any questions, please contact Sue at clappschoolpto@hotmail.com

2009-2010 Fundraisers

September 14 - October 2

Thank you to all Clapp-Goodyear families that participated in the Fall Catalog fundraiser.  All orders have been processed and delivered.  Some items from Genevieve were back-ordered and notes were sent along with regard to those two items.  This looks to have been a very successful fundraiser and the PTO appreciates your support!

If you have questions about your order at this time, please contact Erin at clappschoolpto@hotmail.com

Target.com Home Page

Do you have a Target card?  If you do, please register in Target's "Take Charge of Education" program and the school will automatically receive a percentage of all your purchases.   This program is FREE for you, and can really help the school.  Last year, the Clapp School received nearly $500 from Target based on purchases Clapp families made with their REDcards online and in the store.  Follow the link below and register your card today, and pass the link on to family members.  Anyone can designate our school for their card and help our kids!

We believe that at this time you must designate either the Clapp or the Goodyear, but all money will be sent to Mrs. Kelley (Target will not be acknowledging the merge.)

Box Tops for Education

Clip those Box Tops! Box Tops are on many of the products your family uses reguarly, and our school receives CASH back every time we turn in our Box Tops.  We have regular collection deadlines, so check back to find out when the next collection date is.  This is a great way to involve grandparents, aunts, and neighbors in helping out our school as well.  Anyone who can clip, can help!

Throughout the school year the PTO runs several collection contests, so you can save up your Box Tops for those, or send them in weekly with your child.  Either way, the money really adds up!
